7. Naomi

Naomi inherited the Kofi Kingston spot when WWE first started doing Women’s Royal Rumbles. She also seems to have inherited the Kofi Kingston position on the card in Money in the Bank matches now. I’m amazed how often I’ve mentioned Kofi Kingston in these prediction rankings.

Naomi isn’t there to win and WWE have a poor record of taking advantage of big Naomi moments. Naomi won the first ever Women’s WrestleMania Battle Royal, though that’s hard to remember now. She, like others further down in this list, is a close to the top talent on a brand that really needs new top talents. Unfortunately, Naomi has a history of being overlooked and that seems set to continue.

What you will get though is excitement. Last year Naomi had three or four brief, small matches in amongst the actual ladder match. Her duels with Natalya, Sasha Banks and the pick of the bunch Ember Moon add so much replay value to that match. I love every single second that Naomi spent in the ring during that match.

You’ll still get that. Naomi will still fly high and bump strong but unfortunately she won’t be near another championship for a long time.
