One of the absolute highlights of WWE as of late has been Bray Wyatt and the now infamous Firefly Fun House. It might seem like a temporary addition until Wyatt returns to in-ring action, but these segments should be here to stay.

Bray Wyatt is one of the most creative individuals in wrestling history. Surely, at this point, that is beyond doubt. If you’re not confident in saying that, look no further than his recent efforts in the Firefly Fun House.

Gone is the family trailing in his wake. Gone is the lantern swinging ominously before him. Instead, they have been replaced with a colorful collection of new stuffed and disastrously presented friends. I haven’t been this invested in a ragtag collection of puppets and animated animals since Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Bray Wyatt and his friends are dominating Raw and SmackDown in two or three-minute intervals. Fans are chanting Yowie Wowie during pay per view shows.

Clearly, it’s working.

Wyatt has been able to get away with a lot. We’ve seen a Vince McMahon puppet briefly arrive. We’ve seen Rambling Rabbit eaten and then come back to life without debate. We’ve seen the light side, the dark side and, perhaps most terrifyingly of all, the muscle man dance.

More from WWE

Now, concerns are starting to creep in. Twitter is abuzz with love for the Firefly Fun House but questions are being asked as to when Bray himself will step back in the ring. The problem is, once that happens, we’re back to somewhere we’ve been before.

Wyatt has always been known as an incredible promo. Intense, entertaining, adventurous and creative. Unfortunately what Bray Wyatt isn’t known for is winning wrestling matches.

His one run as WWE Champion lasted a month and a half. His singular tag title reign didn’t last much longer. He lost to The Undertaker after the streak was already broken. He lost to Cena, he lost to Reigns, big names make no mistake but for someone so gripping with a mic in his hand more is to be expected.

Will the Firefly Fun House walk Wyatt straight back into title contention? Probably not. As good a match as a Wyatt vs Kingston feud seems, surely that’s setting the New Face of Fear up to fail? Instead, patience seems to be proving a virtue. One thing the Eater of Worlds has always been, no matter what guise, no matter what style, is entertaining. The Firefly Fun House is certainly that. Even The Fashion Files never quite reached this level.

For now, WWE seems committed. If that ever wavers, it’s up to us to set them right. Chant your Yowie Wowie. Watch the Fun House on YouTube. Let them know on Twitter that you care about this man. Demand more. Demand better. Demand Bray Wyatt.

There’s undoubtedly more to come. This is a good thing, as it gives a father more time to spend with his new child. It’s also a good thing because the longer it goes on, the longer this story plays out, the more the fans foam desperately at the mouth for Bray Wyatt to arrive and change everything.

Next. Drew McIntyre is more than a sidekick. dark

In the meantime, let’s all pull up our pants and do the muscle man dance, shall we?
