Finn Balor

There is no one on the roster that is as deserving as Finn Balor is for a run with a major title. In his first main roster PPV match at SummerSlam, Balor defeated current Universal Champion, Seth Rollins, to become the first-ever Universal Champion.

However, a shoulder injury forced Balor to relinquish the brand new belt that he had just won and has deflated his momentum ever since. While he certainly has had high points and is the current Intercontinental Champion, he deserves so much more.

He has challenged for the title several times, but has never been more than a transitional challenger to fill time. He has not had a meaningful feud for a main belt, which is absolutely staggering to think.

Balor is one of the best wrestlers on the roster and has produced some of the best matches in recent years. His match with AJ Styles at TLC in 2017 was one of the best matches of the year and showcased that he is more than capable enough to put on a show-stealing main event.

WWE must capitalize while they can with Balor. While he is still relatively new in his WWE career, he is 37-years old and is not going to be this much of a high-level performer forever.
