Did the WWE Universe let Bray Wyatt in after last night?

Bray Wyatt has been on a roll lately with his absolutely terrifying Firefly Fun House. After last night’s WWE RAW though, it looks like they may have come to an end.

Firefly Fun House has been one of the few highlights every week on RAW and to some extent, SmackDown Live. I’ll even admit that I wasn’t entirely sold on the idea at first, but as the weeks progressed, the promos got better and better. Now, as of writing this, I really don’t want them to end. Supposedly, Bray Wyatt has complete creative control over the segments, and it shows. If only the rest of WWE was as creative, different, and truly bizarre as this.

However, all good things must come to an end and we may be at the end of Firefly Fun House. After last nights segment, it certainly sounds like the WWE Universe is letting Wyatt in, although I don’t think we’ll be getting the infectiously catchy Muscle Man Dance version of Wyatt. Instead we’ll be getting the dark, creepy version that makes jump scare appearances in the Firefly Fun House segments.

This latest installment opens with Wyatt telling us our minds are like a garden and that we need sunshine and water to really grow. He then goes on to say that sometimes, our ideas are full of worms and that people will always lie to you. This segment is delightfully creepy, with a cult like vibe. Wyatt says the fun never has to end and to join him in his insanity.

We then go through quick clips with various versions of the Muscle Man Dance song as a child taunts us to follow the leader. Wyatt, throughout all of these segments, has never once looked like he was phoning in his performances. He executes each and every one of them well. Watching him fall into his dark side is terrifying, but also engrossing.

Like I said earlier, it’s creepy as all get out, but also shows how passionate (and creative) Wyatt is about his character’s development. It was also a nice way to wrap the insanity up and I think we’re all ready to have Wyatt back in our lives.

But when will we see Wyatt appear? I have a sneaking suspicion he’ll be Baron Corbin’s special guest referee at this Sunday’s Stomping Grounds. If that’s so, what a complete lackluster way to end one of the best promos that WWE has had in years. But it would also draw some much needed attention to a PPV that most fans don’t seem to be terribly interested in. I guess we’ll have to watch to find out.
