First Blood Match: Eddie Edwards vs. Killer Kross

Killer Kross expressed his fascination in Kenny long ago, once stealing the named kendo stick from Eddie Edwards. They went back and forth over the inanimate object, before Kross locked Eddie up in handcuffs, forcing him to watch the death of his prized possession when Kross split Kenny in half.

This shockingly heartbreaking moment was only the beginning as Eddie was gifted a new best friend shortly after. The Sandman presented Eddie with a new kendo stick, billed as Kenny 2.0.

While Kross has not destroyed this incarnation of Kenny, he did go as far as waterboarding the ECW legend. Eddie got his revenge, beating Kross to a bloody pulp and cannibalistically biting his rival. His wife, Alisha was more mortified than ever, which is quite the accomplishment given their history.

Following this, Kross found Eddie in a Boston church, ready to confess his sins. This revealed Eddie’s boundaries as he walked out of the church, hesitant to brawl in a sacred location.

At Slammiversary, we will find out who’s boundaries are deeper as the two will face off in a First Blood match. Eddie will likely pick up the win here, painting Kross the color red, courtesy of Kenny 2.0.

Prediction: Eddie Edwards

Grudge Match: Moose vs. Rob Van Dam

Rob Van Dam made his triumphant return to Impact Wrestling at the expense of Ethan Page and Josh Alexander of The North. Aligned with the Canadian tag team was former Impact World Title contender Moose.

The NFL veteran was repeatedly embarrassed by RVD and other ECW legends, placing the blame on Page and Alexander. After dumping The North, Moose set out on a mission to prove himself against The Whole F’n Show. Moose has ensured his revenge by taking out RVD’s longtime friend, Tommy Dreamer.

At Slammiversary, we get the match that we never knew we wanted when former Impact and ECW World Champ, Rob Van Dam returns to PPV against Moose. RVD will get the win here, setting him up for a potential title match-up in the future. The match will be some good fun and Moose will look like a million bucks.

Prediction: Rob Van Dam
