5. Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon Defeat Roman Reigns and Elias

As announced, Shane McMahon will team up with Drew McIntyre to battle Roman Reigns and a partner of Shane McMahon’s choosing.

The only other superstars who have been involved in this feud are: (1) The Undertaker, (2) The Miz, and (3) Elias. Thus, one of these men is likely to be chosen as Reigns’ tag team partner.

Peculiarly, The Undertaker got involved with this feud two weeks ago when he saved Reigns from being ambushed by Shane and McIntyre. He is scheduled to tag with Reigns at Extreme Rules against Shane and McIntyre.

Considering that he is scheduled for said match, and is banned from ringside for this tonight’s match, he is most certainly not going to be Reigns’ mystery tag team partner.

Sensibly, The Miz has been involved in this feud since losing to Shane at WrestleMania 35. The Miz has never defeated Shane one-on-one, and he will not feel redeemed until he does so. He would be an ideal mystery partner for Reigns tonight.

However, it is very unlikely that Shane would pick The Miz to team with Reigns if he really wants to screw Reigns.

Vindictively, Elias seems to be the choice Shane would make as Reigns’ mystery partner. He is indeed a key part of Shane’s coalition, and can feasibly help Shane and McIntyre with the victory by being a terrible tag team partner to Reigns.

Knowing how Raw has been booked as of late, this is certainly not far from being plausible.

All in all, due to the selective process of Reigns’ mystery tag team partner, Shane and McIntyre should have the advantage in winning the match tonight. However, Undertaker will evidently appear after the match to save Reigns from a 3-on-1 beatdown and gain momentum for Sunday’s Extreme Rules.
