Cima (Strong Hearts) vs. Kenny Omega

Cima and Omega started the match testing each other out in some technical wrestling, where I think Cima would have a bit more experience. Cima hit a hard shoulder tackle that sent Omega to the mat.

Omega ate an arm drag, went for a sunset flip, but Cima flew into the air after rolling through and nailed Omega with a double stomp.Omega hit a hard chop when they stood up and floated over in the corner but Cima countered with a sunset flip and a submission, showing that he is the more dangerous wrestler on the mat here. Omega got out and after an exchange managed to hit a back suplex.

Omega hit an elbow, but Cima kicked out.Cima cleared out of the ring and Omega signaled for Rise of the Terminator, but Cima ut him off and hit a kick right to the face of Omega. Omega responded and hit a tornado DDT, while selling the nose that Jericho broke at Double or Nothing. Omega went for the Perfect Driver, but Cima countered and hit it instead, as it’s his move. Omega kicked out.Cima ended up in the corner, and Omega killed him with a V-Trigger before putting Cima on the top rope and going for a dragon suplex off the top rope! Cima fought out and got onto Omega’s shoulders before sliding down and hitting a sunset flip powerbomb!

Cima went for Meteora, but Omega dodged and Cima crashed to the mat.Omega started to work over Cima’s knee, exposing the weakness right as soon as he saw it. Omega ended up hitting a snap dragon suplex and went for One Winged Angel, but Cima countered and hit a one legged back stabber.

Omega ended up on the apron and Cima killed him with a dropkick.Cima went for a tope, but Omega dodged and Cima crashed to the floor, hurting his knee further. Omega smashed Cima’s knee into the apron, further grounding him.

Omega grabbed the time keeper’s table, showing a more violent side that Moxley seems to have brought out of him. Omega back flipped out of a back suplex, but Cima countered with a snap suplex.Cima climbed onto the stage and hit a Meteora off the stage onto the table! Holy crap! Cima hit two more Meteora’s in the ring, but Omega managed to kick out.

Cima went for another one, but Omega caught him! Omega powerbombed him into the corner, hit a snap dragon suplex, then a V-Trigger, but Cima kicked out.Omega hit a fisherman’s buster across the knee and another V-Trigger, but Cima fought out. Omega went for another powerbomb, but Cima countered and hit a huge DDT! Both men got to their feet and started to exchanged strikes, but Omega hit another V-Trigger. Cima countered a Jay Driller attempt and hit two Meteora’s on Omega again.Omega rolled to the apron and Cima went out after him going for the Air Raid Crash.

Cima nailed it on the apron, nearly killing Omega! Somehow, this didn’t finish Omega. Cima tried to go back to the top rope, but Omega wouldn’t let go of his foot. Cima hit a series of slaps and both men started to exchange strikes!Neither man wants to go down as Cima kills Omega with a dropkick. Cima tried to hit the ropes, but Cima he collapsed due to his knee and Omega hit a V-Trigger!

Omega hit the Jay Driller and Cima kicked out! Omega went for another V-Trigger, but Cima countered and tried to pin Omega! Omega kicked out! Omega rolled out and then caught Cima with the One Winged Angel for the pinfall!

Result: Kenny Omega

This was absolutely incredible. What a great match between Omega and Cima. Cima is an absolute legend and can still go like very few guys out there. Omega is one of the best wrestlers in the world today, and they both delivered a classic here.
