The New Day are one of the greatest factions in professional wrestling history, so now that The Club are back together in WWE, imagine how good a feud between these two teams would be.

Kofi Kingston is in the midst of an all-time great run with the WWE Championship, so The New Day’s stock has never been higher. That’s saying something, too, because they have been one of the centerpieces of WWE programming over the last handful of years. A legendary faction, Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods have put on countless in-ring classics and even more memorable promos or backstage segments.

Meanwhile, The Club are back in business after disbanding in 2016, too soon after they were created. AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson are at their best when they’re all together, and they have the potential to be one of wrestling’s best heel factions.

So imagine how good a rivalry between The New Day and The Club would be. All six of these men are capable of putting together amazing single, tag, or trios matches against each other, and there are almost an innumerable amount of reasons why this should happen.

But let’s just pick three for now.

We need more trios matches in WWE

Because WWE likes to lump all their women together to get them on television without actually developing storylines or matches with stakes, we’ve seen plenty of six-women tag matches that are great matches but don’t last long enough. On the men’s side, we rarely see well-done six-men tag matches, even though a damn good trios match is difficult to top.

The psychology of trios matches are special since they are more fast-paced and can involve more creative spots with so many moving pieces involved. WWE is wisely more measured with how they present their product when it comes to pacing matches or selecting big moves or highspots, and The New Day and The Club have individuals who can fit their matches into this style.

But these superstars are also capable of going all-out, and it would be exciting to see some six-man classics involving these teams. Remember The New Day vs. The Shield at Survivor Series 2017? Yeah, this could be like that except for weeks.
