Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch vs. Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans – Extreme Rules – Universal and Raw Women’s Championship

And last but certainly not least, the double title main event of the evening. If Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans lose, they lose the right to ever face Seth Rollins or Becky Lynch for their respective titles ever again in the near future after failing to win those belts at consecutive PPVs. If The Man and The Man’s Man lose, then simply, they lose their titles.

I’m just gonna come out and spew my hot take: I think they lose their titles.

Now, hear me out for a second before you grab your pitchforks. Or, maybe my explanation might make you grab even more pitchforks, but hear me out regardless.

See, Paul Heyman teased that Brock Lesnar may or may not cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Sunday. Because I don’t think Heyman would waste his breath teasing a Lesnar appearance like that if he was not actually appearing, I think Brock actually cashes in on Sunday and that The Beast will walk into SummerSlam with the title.

Now, WWE have nailed it home by now that Rollins can lose his title if Lynch is pinned or submitted, just as Lynch can lose her title if Rollins is pinned or submitted. I say Rollins gets pinned, but not by Corbin.

I think Brock Lesnar storms down mid-way through the match, turning this into – I suppose – a Three on Two Handicap Match. He pins Rollins, wins his title, and Lacey Evans becomes the Raw Women’s Champion.

A lot of heat can be stemmed from a segment like this and I think WWE recognizes this. Now, if they recognize that this might steer closer to go away/change the channel heat for a lot of people is anyone’s guess, but in this new edgy era of WWE, I can’t help but feel like this is exactly what they’d come up with and exactly what they’d try to execute just to see what kind of reaction they’d get.
