The upcoming WWE Raw Reunion show would be the perfect opportunity for a passing of the torch between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kevin Owens.

On the next episode of WWE Raw, a variety of legends are scheduled to return for the night in a massive Raw Reunion.

While this may initially seem somewhat random, especially considering we don’t seem to be near any major milestones for Raw, it does provide WWE the opportunity to create some memorable moments fans might not get the chance to see otherwise.

One such moment would be a potential passing of the torch between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kevin Owens.

For weeks now, Owens has been in a feud with a McMahon. He’s frequently done everything he could to subvert his power on the mic, while simultaneously delivering a devastating stunner to punctuate his anti-authority beliefs whenever possible.

Sound Familiar? Owens has basically been this era’s Steve Austin for weeks now, something which WWE should most definitely embrace on the upcoming Raw Reunion.

It’s an idea that former WWE superstar and wrestling legend Bully Ray seems to be pitching to fans on social media via a simple tweet:

I honestly can’t think of a better way for WWE to give Owens a stamp of approval as the company’s newest top anti-hero then for him to drop a stunner or 2 on some McMahon’s with the man who started it all.

It would be the kind of segment that could push Owens to an even greater level of success and popularity by giving him another angle that’s practically guaranteed to be the most-talked about moment on WWE programming for the week.

If you were to combine that with another blistering promo from Owens to grab fans attention, you would almost have to bet that Owens would walk away as the hottest superstar in WWE.

Next. Brock Lesnar beating Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules was the right call. dark

Regardless of whatever reason WWE has for putting on the Raw Reunion, that alone would seem like a pretty great way to justify it if you ask me.
