The Ringside Wrestling app is looking to change the game this coming Friday by letting fans use the app to influence what happens in a live match.

Back in April, Kiswe Mobile stepped into the wrestling world by announcing a new app on Apple and Google Play platforms called “Ringside Wrestling.” The new concept aimed to create a virtual space for wrestling fans to build relationships while interacting with mobile content.

Since launching, the app has garnered a 4-star rating on Google Play (with 29 reviews) and a 5-star rating on the App Store (with 5 reviews). Now they’re looking to step things up a notch with an ambitious and exciting chance to make fans part of the show.

More from Wrestling News

On Friday, July 26th, Ringside Wrestling partners with Sami Callihan’s Wrestling REVOLVER for an event called “Weapons of Destruction,” which will take place during Wrestling REVOLVER’s “Afraid of the Dark” show.

That night will see a huge Extreme Rules Tornado Tag Team Match as all four members of Sami Callihan’s “Ohio Versus Everything” group (Sami Callihan, Dave Crist, Jake Crist, and Madman Fulton) will team up to take on a quartet of violence including Tommy Dreamer, Eddie Edwards, Jimmy Jacobs, and Rhino.

As exciting as that match could be, fans should most be looking forward to their chance to influence another bit of violence that night. Caleb Konley is set to take on Andy Dalton in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Tables Match, and fans will have the ability to use the app while the match is live to choose weapons for the men to use against each other.

Professional wrestling has always thrived on audience participation, and Kiswe Mobile’s Ringside Wrestling app has the chance to take that to the next level with this. The app looks to gamify things by giving fans the chance to earn points by participating in app-exclusive game shows like WrestlePro Trivia and Game Night with Josh Mathews.

The points earned during those events can be spent in Ringside Wrestling’s mobile marketplace, including voting on which weapons they want to see during “Weapons of Destruction,” and who fans want to see use those weapons.
