3. The Miz Defeats Dolph Ziggler

Last week on Raw, Dolph Ziggler questioned why The Miz has been pandering to the WWE Universe lately. He articulated that The Miz has become what he has hated for so many years.

Indirectly, Ziggler called The Miz a hypocrite. He got into his skin even further by comparing Miz’s love for fortune and fame to Maryse’s love for fortune and fame. Talking about a man’s wife like that is a low blow, and will never sit well with anyone.

This stinging comment led to a fracas in the ring that could result in a match for tonight’s show. If this match happens, expect The Miz to pull out the win because it’s quite frankly difficult to expect Ziggler to win anything nowadays.

After winning this potential match, The Miz can focus on getting a win over Shane McMahon. He could team up with a slew of babyface WWE superstars, such as Roman Reigns, Cedric Alexander, and Kevin Owens, who have issues with Shane McMahon and defeat Shane and his heel cronies, such as Elias, Drew McIntyre, and Dolph Ziggler.

If there’s ever a better time to end things with Shane, it would have to be at the biggest event of the summer. That way, the wild card rule can end then, and every feud can fall into place on their respective brands post-SummerSlam.
