WWE SmackDown: 3 possible announcements Daniel Bryan could make
By Bassam Kaado
Daniel Bryan stated he needs to change his methods to achieve his mission statement in WWE, but how will he do it?
After the events of Extreme Rules, Daniel Bryan lost his SmackDown Tag Team Titles and, in what seemed to be in a crazed state, announced that he has to aim higher to better accomplish his mission of protecting the world.
Poor D-Bry. He does all he can to protect Mama Nature, but he keeps getting foiled. Last week, we almost got his big announcement, but the hip-swiveling New Day spoiled his announcement yet again.
What is Bryan trying to tell us? Here are three possibilities:
Bryan IS The Authority
Daniel Bryan said he had to aim higher instead of focusing on things he couldn’t elevate. Well, maybe the “New” Daniel Bryan has received a “new” role with the company.
He was General Manager for a while, but we have to think this new announcement is going to be much, much bigger. Bryan has polished his resume and cover letter to join the corporate ranks of Stamford, Connecticut. Or maybe, a hostile takeover of the whole company.
But, but, why would he do that? Well, not only can he still wrestle for the company (a suit never stopped anyone), but he can implement changes. Catering? All Vegan now. Set design? Lighting and design are more eco-friendly. Backstage areas like locker rooms and control stations? Re-organized to save electricity and transport less.
Let’s not forget what he did with the WWE Championship. Imagine all the belts like that. Genius.
Yes? Yes? Yes? Probably Not.
