Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Samoa Joe – WWE Championship

That was fast. No, this house show is not holding only three matches tonight, but WWE is only televising a select few matches from the show. WWE probably wants us to actually go to the house show for the full show instead of giving us the whole shebang for free.

Kofi Kingston holds successful title defense wins over both men. First, by defeating Dolph Ziggler at two back to back shows – Super ShowDown and Stomping Grounds – then he defeated Samoa Joe at Extreme Rules. We can probably count Kofi’s win over Joe on the last episode of SmackDown Live as well, but that was a win by DQ. Going into this match, Joe isn’t looking too hot, but based on some recent rumors, do not be surprised if he pulls off some surprise upset for the sake of shock value. Because “aNythiG caN hapPeN,” as WWE would say.

At the same time, Dolph Ziggler is actually relatively hot since ending his feud with Kofi Kingston. He’s got some momentum from Superkicking the head off of Shawn Michaels on the last episode of SmackDown Live. Plus, it’s his birthday so WWE might gift Dolph with a random birthday present in the form of a title. You never know.

Next. Chris Jericho should be the first AEW World Champion. dark

As wacky and random as WWE can be sometimes, I don’t expect a title change tonight, especially with Kofi heading into SummerSlam for his hot feud with Randy Orton.

Prediction: Kofi retains
