JAM: If I had to guess, I’d say the Raw or SmackDown after NXT TakeOver Toronto II.

Because, what else can he accomplish down there? Dude’s won every title there is to win down there and feuded with everyone worth feuding with for the most part. Not sure what else he can do except move on after his next match with Cole, assuming he doesn’t win.

BG: I wish I knew the answer to this, but sadly you’re guess is as good as mine. I think he has the chance to be a major star as a face on the main roster, but I have my concerns given how the company has used some of the other promising call-up (see above).

PC: Ideally, never. Johnny Gargano should be the face of NXT as it becomes a brand on the same level as Raw or SmackDown. He should be the undeniable top guy when Tommaso Ciampa returns to reclaim Goldie.

JAM: I wrote an article about this way back when I first started writing for Daily DDT, but to summarize it in retrospect, kayfabe’s not really dead because you’ll always find people who wants to buy into it. Fans have always been in on the fix, but that’s where the appeal comes from.

And in rare cases where the wool actually does get pulled over our eyes and we can’t separate reality from that fix (i.e. CM Punk’s pipe bomb), then that just makes it all the more interesting. Kayfabe’s evolved as an art form more than anything.

BG: Is kayfabe really dead though? I mean I get that it’s a new era in wrestling, but look at guys like MJF and Bray Wyatt. They’re dedicated to their gimmick like no one else.

I think just because some wrestlers don’t want to base all their interactions around their gimmick doesn’t mean that kayfabe is dead basically.

PC: Kayfabe, as it once existed, died with the arrival of the information era. However, kayfabe has evolved in the same way that so many other forms of entertainment have. Wrestling will always be about blurring the lines, they’re just different lines now.

JAM: No clue. In fact, rumors be damned, I don’t think anyone on this or another planet knows when and if Sasha Banks returns to the big screen except Sasha Banks and Vince McMahon. Even then, only Sasha really knows if she wants to stay or go.

BG: This is another question I wish I knew the answer to. All I can say is that the rumors going around online basically say that WWE gave her some time off. Even if you believe those rumors, what that means and when it ends seems to still remain up for debate regardless.

PC: I have no idea. I just hope Sasha Banks is happy, healthy, and does what’s best for her.
