WWE: 3 Superstars that need a win the most at SummerSlam 2019
WWE SummerSlam 2019 is only days away and for an event that the WWE labels as the biggest party of the summer, a lot will be at stake for many Superstars.
At WWE SummerSlam 2019, several championships will be on the line along with other key battles that could affect the course of the WWE moving forward with high stakes for numerous Superstars.
Throughout all of the matches on the card, which Superstars could use a win the most? Let’s take a look at the three Superstars that need a win the most at WWE SummerSlam 2019.
3. Bray Wyatt
The creative powers that be within the WWE have been criticized heavily in recent memory, and rightfully so, but they definitely can’t be criticized for the creative transformation of Bray Wyatt over the past few months in which he has developed into arguably the most must-see Superstar in the entire company.
Wyatt had been off of TV for nearly a year before the initial Firefly Funhouse segment hit the airwaves, but after that, the WWE universe was buzzing. These segments were regularly considered the best part of Raw for countless weeks and offered up something unique and never seen before on WWE TV. This new demented Mr. Rogers type of character is complex and hard to predict, just ask Finn Balor.
Since Wyatt’s new alter ego The Fiend has made his in-arena debut in recent weeks, he has given plenty of attention to Balor. The challenge was issued by Balor for a match with Wyatt at SummerSlam and that match will take place at the biggest party of the summer. This seems like the most obvious statement at this point, but it’s not hard to tell who needs to win this match.
If Wyatt would somehow lose this debut match as The Fiend after months of major momentum, it would derail everything. That’s exactly what hurt Wyatt’s original Eater of Worlds character in the first place, too many untimely losses. No matter how much you bought into Wyatt in the past, you knew he would ultimately lose every big feud he was given. The story must change this time around.
The Fiend must get the win at SummerSlam to help jumpstart what appears to be the career breakthrough Wyatt has been searching for.
