3. Ember Moon needs to win her first main roster championship

Ember Moon is one of the most talented NXT acquisitions to ever step foot in the WWE main roster. Considering that she debuted on the Raw after WrestleMania 34 last year, she needs to win her first championship on the main roster now before it’s too late.

Many may think that wins in WWE don’t matter as much since choreographed storylines and entertainment are central to this company. However, it definitely matters for Moon.

As many WWE fans know, Moon is known as the “shenom.” A “shenom” is a female up-and-comer who is outstandingly talented or admired.

In NXT, Moon was well-known for always being “close” to dethroning Asuka for the NXT Women’s Championship and to conquering the undefeated streak. On Raw, she was unfortunately not involved in any major storylines.

For a superstar who should be outstandingly talented or admired, this is not what her WWE resume should look like. Now that she is on SmackDown Live, she needs to redefine her career and prove why the WWE fanbase should believe in her as the “shenom.”

On top of that, if Ember Moon loses to Bayley on Sunday, there will be no further direction for her in the SmackDown Live Women’s Division. Why? Because there would be no reason for her to get a title rematch, especially after getting handpicked to have this title match at SummerSlam to begin with.

Secondly, since she doesn’t have a tag team partner, she can’t even target the only other women’s title in the WWE: the Women’s Tag Team Championship. However, her opponent at SummerSlam certainly can.
