3. WrestleMania 32 Triple Threat

Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks were all called up to the WWE main roster before Bayley, who still had some critical work to do in building up the NXT Women’s Division for Asuka and Co. So at WrestleMania 32, three-fourths of the Four Horsewomen cemented a new era of women’s wrestling – complete with a new title – in an excellent Triple Threat match that set the table for the first all-women’s main event three years later.

It’s easy to forget how good this match was in hindsight, and when rewatching it, I’m always struck by how Sasha’s wrestling chops are on another level. She really put in an A+ performance on a big stage, so if only one playable character can be chosen in this match, it’d make sense for Sasha to be the pick. I know Charlotte won the match and it was her crowning moment, but that was also partially because Banks was so good that she didn’t need the title.

Anyway, it’d be ideal if fans could play as all three women in this match, reliving the historic WrestleMania Triple Threat from different vantage points through WWE 2K20. This would allow fans to pick any of these three characters, and Becky and Sasha were only months away from their first titles on the WWE main roster, too.

4. Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair, Feb. 13, 2017 Raw

This was the night of the Festival of Friendship segment, but it was also the night Bayley won her first main roster title, defeating Charlotte Flair. Bayley’s win in Las Vegas set the stage for a rivalry that included Bayley breaking The Queen’s undefeated PPV streak and successfully retaining the Raw Women’s Championship in a Fatal Four-Way at WrestleMania 33.

Although Bayley’s finest work is coming as the SmackDown Women’s Champion after her cash-in on Charlotte at Money in the Bank this year, there’s something special about her Raw Women’s Title victory. Like now, the fans couldn’t get enough of Bayley in early 2017, as she had just been called up to the main roster months earlier from NXT and was ticketed for greatness in WWE.

That didn’t truly happen until 2019, but this was a great match and a special moment.

5. Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair, Hell in a Cell

With a shoutout to Sasha Banks’s first Raw Women’s Championship win on Raw and her Falls Count Anywhere victory, the Hell in a Cell match between Charlotte and Sasha is the match from this legendary rivalry that I’d most want to see in the 2K showcase mode.

I love Hell in a Cell matches in 2K video games. In real life, the stipulation is awesome, but it truly comes to life when you play it on 2K. While we can’t be as creative in a showcase mode match, it’ll still be awesome to put our own slight twist on a match that had us all hyped up.

Charlotte wins this match, yes, but the underdog story given to Sasha at the beginning of the match and the sequences that teased a turning point had us on the edge of our seats. I think this is a match that will “age well” in a WWE 2K20 showcase mode setting, especially since there was a special vibe around his specific matchup before it took place at Hell in a Cell 2016.
