AAA Tag Team Title Ladder Match: The Young Bucks vs The Lucha Bros

This match shouldn’t need much of an introduction. You’re getting one anyways. These are the 2 best brother tag teams in the World (Sorry Usos). This year alone, they have taken part in 5 bouts against one another. 3 tag team affairs and 2 six man tag matches. In terms of already built-in AEW rivalries, this is arguably the biggest, most compelling feud in the company’s short history.

It began at the AEW rally where The Lucha Bros were revealed as the newest signees of AEW. They attacked the Young Bucks and left them laid out on a Las Vegas stage. Quickly fast forward to March, The Young Bucks crashed the AAA promotion during an event in Mexico. They defeated the Lucha Bros and took the AAA tag team titles with them.

Double Or Nothing arrived in May where The Bucks put the newly won titles up for grabs in a rematch. In what could be argued as the match of the night (when aren’t these 2 teams in that conversation?) Nick and Matt Jackson held off Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr. The calendar flipped over to June, you guessed it. They fought once again in Mexico, with The Lucha Bros regaining their titles in yet another captivating thriller.

Just a few weeks later, Kenny Omega would team with the Young Bucks in another instant classic. They would go on to defeat The Lucha Bros and Laredo Kid. 2 short weeks later, The Lucha Bros would defeat SCU at Fight for the Fallen. When the match ended, they would grab microphones and ladders. They issued yet another challenge to the Young Bucks. This time in a ladder match at All Out. Nick and Matt Jackson would accept said challenge. Yet there was still another chapter left to be written in this ongoing novel.

At AAA Triplemania earlier this month, The Lucha Bros and Laredo Kid would defeat The Jacksons and Kenny Omega in yet another fantastic, show stealing bout. Now comes the payoff at All Out, a Ladder Match deemed “Escalera De La Muerte” or “Death Ladders.” Add any superlatives you want to, these 4 men are likely going to produce the match of the night. (Again)

The AAA tag team championships are up for grabs in what is sure to make fans heart rates climb and their emotions suspended in disbelief. Which team will one up the other in this ladder match? Where the belts will be hung 15 feet above the ring for the eventual winning team to climb up and grab the championships? If this is a best of 5 series between the 2 best in the World, it will surely go out in style. Each time tied at 2, pulling out the stops. (Insert cliche here) Let’s go with the team that needs the win more in terms of AEW story-line purposes.

Winner: Lucha Bros
