King Chad Gable could be WWE’s version of King Joffrey

Spoiler Warning: The follow contains spoilers for Game of Thrones

If you haven’t seen Game of the Thornes, allow me to give you the short version of King Joffrey.

A kid became a king, everyone hated him, he killed a lot of people, he died, and everyone was happy.

Chad Gable wining King of the Ring should be the push needed to determine if Gable has that depth character wise. Currently, there is no a strong argument to be made that he has that.

He might not have the depth to be loved or hated on his own accord without the crutch of being King.

Imagine the layers to his character building slowly after winning King of the Ring, with the title of King going to Gable’s head. Soon, the adorable underdog becomes drunk with power. When Corey Graves refers to Chad Gable as “The WWE’s version of King Joffrey” that will lend credibility to a performer who has it all in the ring. Winning King of the Ring should be the missing piece.

Soon the adorable underdog becomes a maniacal tyrant who is ruining careers if they dare defy King Gable. This adds a new layer to Gable that fans have not seen.

This could even lead to WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins having to put a stop to the reign of King Gable. Having a storyline that uses the King of the Ring victory to make a new superstar that fans dislike is a win for WWE, and for Chad Gable.
