2. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins was the very first NXT Champion, making him the man who set the tone for everything that NXT did and everything that came after. The Kingslayer makes an impact wherever he goes and came very close to the number one spot.

Rollins won a major tournament to become the first champion. He helped carry NXT into its televised era. He would then come in as a member of The Shield and a number of major moments followed: The break up of The Shield. the Money in the Bank cash-in, his prolonged and very well received WWE Championship run … all of these helped shape the landscape of everything that followed.

Injury may have derailed his championship run, but it did not stop The Kingslayer. Rollins had a rapturous reception upon his surprise return and defeated Reigns at the first attempt. He was the first pick of the new brand split era and competing in the very first Universal Championship match. He’s not long off of a long and very exciting Intercontinental Title run, either

Seth is now our current Universal champion, having won out against major opposition such as Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman. Both clean as well.

Rollins was huge in NXT. He was huge in WWE. He is huge in WWE. Rollins is almost the biggest NXT export in the WWE.

1. Charlotte Flair

This might seem controversial, but it shouldn’t be. Let me explain.

Charlotte Flair has done everything. NXT Women’s Champion. Diva’s Champion. Raw Women’s Champion. SmackDown Women’s Champion. Leader of The Four Horsewomen who literally changed wrestling. Ender of Asuka’s streak. Has held more championships than any woman in WWE history.

Charlotte Flair had never wrestled before stepping into NXT. She is as homegrown as they come. To be so talented and have such range is incredible but even more importantly she can do a big boot in heels.
