1. Andrade
If I had to pick who the biggest winner in the WWE Draft was, I’m fairly certain I would say Andrade.
Andrade has been consistently presented as a strong competitor with loads of potential by WWE up to this point, but his selection as a first round pick seems to exceed even those lofty expectations.
The fact of the matter is that Andrade was treated like the future WWE Champion he truly could be in the draft. His draft spot seemed like an indication of not just his potential as a future titleholder, but his very real potential as a face of the entire company.
With that in mind, it’s no surprise then that he promptly picked up a win over Ali on Raw, potentially kicking off a run with the red brand that could lead to any number of feuds.
While a storyline for Andrade isn’t exactly obvious at the moment, it’s not hard to envision anything from a feud against Kevin Owens to a straight introduction into world title contention against Seth Rollins in his near future.
That’s because Andrade really does have it all. He has the look, the skill, and the manager that can take him to basically any level of competition WWE chooses.
In other words, don’t be surprised then if 2019 becomes the year of “El Idolo” after the WWE Draft.
