IMPACT Wrestling: 5 most improved superstars in 2019
Kiera Hogan
Despite defeating then-Impact Knockouts champion Laurel Van Ness in her debut match on IMPACT! Wrestling in early 2018, Kiera Hogan didn’t do much to impress fans right off the bat.
She went on to lose to the likes of Taya Valkyrie, Tessa Blanchard and Su Yung multiple times in the remainder of the year, and didn’t show much in the way of character development.
As competent of a wrestler as she was, the IMPACT audience had zero reason to care about her, especially since all of her attempts to help out Rosemary and Allie in their rivalry with Yung failed.
In fact, it was her lack of success alongside those ladies that caused her to turn her back on everybody and only look out for herself.
She’s been one of the shining stars of IMPACT’s women’s division ever since.
Her first feud as a heel with Jordynne Grace proved she was not only a terrific wrestler, but an excellent talker to boot.
She wasted no time in taking over the division with her natural charisma and proclaiming she was a a locker room leader (along with Madison Rayne).
The best part about their partnership is that they are the farthest thing from friends, but are willing to coexist if it means making life miserable for the rest of the roster.
It’s only a matter of time before she’s wearing gold around her waist.
