AEW Weekly Power Rankings: SCU rising while champions stay strong
AEW Tag Team Division Power Rankings
HM: Best Friends (2-2-0) [Last Week: 4] and Jurassic Express (0-2-0) [Last Week: Unranked]
This week’s honorable mention goes out to two hard-fought losses this week by Best Friends and Jurassic Express. With Luchasaurus injured, Jurassic Express used their speed package but weren’t able to overcome Lucha Brothers. Similarly, Best Friends came up short against SCU in the tag team tournament despite a great effort.

5. Santana & Ortiz (1-0-0) [Last Week: Unranked]
Rounding out this week’s tag team rankings are Santana and Ortiz of The Inner Circle. This “Proud and Powerful” pairing could be an absolute force to be reckoned with in the tag team division, and they started staking that claim this week with a dominant win over local talents Alex Reynolds and John Silver.
4. Private Party (2-1-0) [Last Week: 3]
It was an uneventful week for Private Party, but they remain in the final four of the AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament. Their next challenge will come in the semifinals against Lucha Brothers, a match they’re surely focused on and preparing for.
3. SCU (1-2-0) [Last Week: Honorable Mention]
Against all odds, SCU powers up the rankings this week. Before their scheduled tournament match with Best Friends, an attack by Lucha Brothers left Christopher Daniels unable to compete. Scorpio Sky taped up with no warning, leading his team to victory even without shoes. SCU will now face The Dark Order in the tournament semifinals.
2. Lucha Brothers (3-1-0) [Last Week: 2]
We saw complete domination this week by Lucha Brothers. It started when they attacked SCU prior to the team’s tournament match, with Pentagon even spiking Christopher Daniels on the ramp and leaving him unable to compete. They continued that dominance later in the night by defeating Jurassic Express to advance to a semifinals clash with Private Party.
1. The Dark Order (2-0-0) [Last Week: 1]
Even without much of a presence this week, The Dark Order is the only undefeated team in the AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament. Their first-round bye has carried them this far, but next they have to focus on semifinals opponents and surging team SCU. If The Dark Order comes up short against SCU, they could fall hard down these rankings.
