WWE Raw October 28th full card preview and predictions
Drew McIntyre vs. Ricochet
Last week, Drew McIntyre made his long awaited return from injury by demolishing Ricochet on Raw in a preview of Crown Jewel where both men will be on opposite teams. As announced last week, The Scottish Psychopath rounds out Team Flair while the Kentucky native rounds out Team Hogan. This week, Ricochet seeks retribution in a rematch. I actually can see this one going one of two ways … neither of which look good in Ricochet’s favor.
Option A: Drew McIntyre wins again. Clean as a whistle. Keeps the returning McIntyre looking strong (which, if WWE truly are trying to push McIntyre hard, is vital) and adding drama to the PPV tag match.
Option B: Drew McIntyre destroys Ricochet to the point that the ref has to stop the match. So, either he wins via ref stoppage or the match is ruled a No Contest. Either way, Ricochet gets carried out on a stretcher, ruling his status at the PPV questionable, adding drama to if Team Hogan needs a replacement, or turning the match into a handicap four vs. five advantage for the heels (ala when Matt Hardy got removed from Team HHH days before Survivor Series 2007 for injury). Plus, it keeps McIntyre strong.
Either way, McIntyre wins.
Winner: McIntyre
