AEW Dynamite: Results, grades, and highlights for October 30, 2019

Hybrid2 (Jack Evans & Angelico) (2-3) & Kip Sabian (2-1) vs. The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) (1-1 in Trios)

A video aired like an old video game saying that Kenny was left alone by his best friend (Kota Ibushi). Sans from Undertale told the villain off and Omega came out dressed as Sans! As someone who loves Undertale, I loved this. Kenny came out to music from the game, which was amazing. The Young Bucks came dressed out as Ken and Ryu from Street Fighter.

As the Elite posed and Evans, Angelico, and Sabian attacked. Sabian hit a huge springboard flip to the outside on the Bucks. Omega tried to fight off Hybrid2 and Omega hit dropkicks on both men and then hit a Krusher on both. Sabian cut him off but the Bucks were able to stay on top of him with some fast-paced offence.

Jack Evans hit a corkscrew kick on Omega that sent him to the floor and hit a Sasuke Special on Omega. Sabian hit a hurricanrana off the top rope on Matt Jackson. Evans hit a handspring elbow and landed on the apron. Evans and Angelico hit a combo double stomp and Angelico locked on a submission, but Omega broke it up.

Angelico charged at Kenny in the corner, but Kenny moved and he crashed headfirst into the top turnbuckle. Omega hit a chop on Angelico, but as Omega went for the snapdragon, Angelico locked on a reverse figure four. Matt Jackson and Evans both hit standing moonsaults onto the other team’s partner to break the figure four.

Nick Jackson tagged in and ran wild, killing Kip Sabian. Matt Jackson hit a massive spear on Sabian and then both men hit a double team move on Sabian. Sabian kicked out and made a comeback, going for Deathly Hallows on Matt Jackson. Matt blocked it, but Sabian hit Matt with a poisonrana. Omega and Evans tagged in. Omega ducked a kick and hit the snap dragon suplex. Omega hit all three men with a snapdragon and then tried to kill Jack Evans with a V-Trigger, but Evans dodged it and kicked Omega. He rolled up Matt Jackson but Jackson caught him and hit a powerbomb into the corner. Sabian hit a tornado DDT on Matt Jackson.

Nick hit a superkick. Angelico went for a Crucifix bomb on Angelico, but Omega killed him with a V-Trigger. Kenny went for Rise of the Terminator, but Sabian cut him off and went for a dive but The Elite caught him and powerbombed him on the apron. Jack Evans tried to springboard in, but he ate a triple superkick. Omega killed Evans with a V-Trigger and then a One-Winged Angel!

Result: The Elite (2-1)

This was a fantastic highlight match for The Elite. Santana and Ortiz were dressed as Rick and Morty in the front row and they pulled the Bucks over the guardrail and started beating on them. They ran away before Omega could get them. This was awesome. They’re establishing the Inner Circle as a major threat.
