WWE NXT: October 30th full card preview and predictions

What’s up with Finn Balor?
The biggest shock from last week’s episode was Finn Balor standing up to the Undisputed Era with Ciampa and Johnny Gargano and promptly blasting Johnny Gargano in the head with a Pele Kick. A shotgun dropkick through the barricade and a Bloody Sunday on the entrance ramp later, we were all left wondering what the hell just happened.
The truth is this is a change that Balor needed to undergo. For the past couple of years, Balor has come out looking like Smiley McGee, coming out on the ramp and simply being happy to get involved in a fight instead of focusing on winning titles. Now with the extraordinary man bit behind him, it appears he’s ready to go back to his New Japan roots after his brief interview on WWE Unscripted last Friday night.
Claiming “The Prince is back,” it will be interesting to see where this goes next. The obvious guess is that Balor will start a program with Johnny Wrestling and that is a feud that you can shoot directly into my neck.
Although Gargano was listed as not medically cleared on NXT’s injury report, both workrate warriors should be able to put on a show and with Gargano’s theatrics giving this a boost, it should be one of NXT’s highlights leading into War Games.
