With another week of action in the record books, our AEW Weekly Power Rankings take a look at how the landscape of AEW has shifted.

No match this week was bigger than the finals of the AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament. After weeks of anticipation, we finally got to see the crowning of AEW‘s inaugural World Tag Team Champions. There were also important singles wins, men and women, on both AEW Dark and AEW Dynamite this week.

Each week in Daily DDT’s AEW Weekly Power Rankings, we take a look at the top five male singles competitors, top five female singles competitors, and top five tag teams. Records are specific to the division, so trios wins wouldn’t count for a tag team, and tag team wins wouldn’t count for a singles competitor, and so on. Honorable mentions tend to be athletes with less than ideal records that have still maintained an important presence and momentum this week.

There is potential for a power ranking of trios in the future, but without titles for them or more established trios, that’s something that will have to wait. Without further ado, we look at a women’s division that got shaken up this week with two new entries into the top five.

AEW Women’s Singles Division Power Rankings

Honorable Mention: Allie (1-2-0) [Last Week: 5] and Shanna (0-1-0) [Last Week: Unranked]

After spending four weeks floating around the top five, Allie slips off into honorable mention after a loss on AEW Dark. Shanna breaks into honorable mention this week after an impressive performance against Hikaru Shida.

5. Brandi Rhodes (1-0-0) [Last Week: 3]

Brandi Rhodes slips down the rankings this week because she’s in dire need of some in-ring action. Her momentum still rolls though, especially after an intriguing video this week seemed to hint at a supernatural side of her character.

4. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. (2-1-0) [Last Week: 2]

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. drops a few spots this week due to her absence on both AEW Dynamite and AEW Dark. Despite a solid record, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. might slip off the rankings entirely if we don’t see something strong from her this week.

3. Hikaru Shida (1-1-0) [Last Week: Unranked]

We haven’t seen Hikaru Shida since her loss to Riho back at All Out, but she came back with a vengeance this week. Shida scored a dominant victory over Shanna, positioning herself directly in line to be a future challenger for Riho.

2. Emi Sakura (1-0-0) [Last Week: Honorable Mention]

After only managing to make it into honorable mention before now, Emi Sakura has launched herself into second position this week. Sakura has been enjoyable in tag team action every time we’ve seen her and finally picked up a big victory on AEW Dark in a Four-Way against Allie, Penelope Ford, and Sadie Gibbs.

1. Riho (4-0-0) [Last Week: 1]

There was no way Riho was dropping down these rankings. Not only is she still the AEW World Women’s Champion, but she’s still undefeated. With an impeccable record, Riho still carries the torch and leads the AEW Women’s Division.
