Bayley vs. Shayna Baszler

Immediately following Bayley’s successful SmackDown Women’s Championship title defense against Nikki Cross, NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler stormed the ring to attack Sasha Banks, Nikki Cross, and of course the brand’s champion. This was the moment that really kicked the Raw/SmackDown vs. NXT war into motion, and NXT could not have picked a better Superstar to throw the first punch than their only two time Women’s Champion.

Bayley’s new recent attitude change almost perfectly compliments the attitude of The Queen of Spades. As a result, this could offer an exciting, aggressive contest between two of the very best women’s athletes to ever step foot inside of a WWE ring.

Given Survivor Series’ history with pitting the champions of separate brands against each other, there is a strong chance we could see this match at this year’s PPV. While I do think these women will face off at Survivor Series, I don’t think it will be in a one-on-one bout. I think the one-on-one bout is more likely to happen within the next coming weeks on an episode of SmackDown.

No, I have other things in mind for these two at Survivor Series …
