As we trek forward on the road to WWE Survivor Series, we should expect another NXT invasion and Brock Lesnar confronting Rey Mysterio.

Last Friday night on SmackDown, we saw a flurry of NXT Superstars storm on to the western front that is WWE’s hottest blue brand. This led to some attacks (i.e. Keith Lee and Matt Riddle dominating Sami Zayn, Bianca Belair singlehandedly dismantling Carmella and Dana Brooke) as well as some big upset victories (NXT Champion Adam Cole pinning Daniel Bryan clean, Tommaso Ciampa defeating The Miz) from the black and gold brand over the more popular blue roster.

Then, at the very end of the night, on behalf of the show that he helped craft into a global phenomenon, Triple H personally declared war on both Raw and SmackDown. Which is perfect timing considering that we learned last week that for the first time in the history of the next Pay-Per-View, Survivor Series, NXT will have its presence known at the show in the name of brand supremacy. We should expect some fallout from SmackDown for tonight’s edition of Raw, but that is not the only thing we were promised for tonight.

Two hours before the show goes live, WWE (FINALLY) released a statement previewing what we should expect for tonight’s episode of the historic Monday Night Raw television series. NXT’s presence has been hinted at, but we should also expect some business as usual stuff when it comes to progressing the storylines of Raw Superstars. Let’s preview the night as we know it and offer some predictions along the way.
