Seth Rollins addresses his loss

Something else confirmed in WWE’s statement is that Seth Rollins will address losing the WWE Universal Championship for the first time since losing it to The Fiend at the last PPV. My guess is that if my prediction with Brock making the official move back to Raw with the WWE Championship, Rollins will try to challenge Bray Wyatt to a rematch, only to be told that because the Universal Title is now a SmackDown title and Bray a SmackDown Superstar, such a rematch cannot take place.

In substitute, and in typical Kingslayer fashion, Rollins will likely stake a claim towards Brock Lesnar for another go at his belt, only to be interrupted by an NXT Superstar who believes themselves to be bigger fish for the flag bearer of Raw to fry. For the sake of pure speculation and hypotheticals, let us just say that that Superstar is none other than NXT Champion Adam Cole, who is just cocky enough to position both himself and the NXT Championship as a bigger deal than both Brock and the WWE Championship. Let’s just hope Brock isn’t around to hear that one.

In any case, this sets up a feud between Cole and Rollins and, ideally, a match that can either take place later tonight in the main event or at Survivor Series. If it’s at the latter PPV, then, again, ideally, Cole’s title would be on the line. Hell, on second thought, put the title on the line even if it happens tonight. Raise the stakes a little bit.

Prediction: Adam Cole vs. Seth Rollins booked for the future
