United States Champion AJ Styles vs. Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan vs. NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong [Mid Card Champion War]

Speaking of true heels, all the mid card champions are currently heels. It’s highly unlikely three heels will be battling in a triple threat match. Since this match is not official yet, it is more likely that there will be a title change before Survivor Series.

Based on recent events, it is foreseeable that Shinsuke Nakamura will lose his Intercontinental Championship to the babyface Daniel Bryan, who pinned Nakamura in a tag team match three weeks ago on SmackDown Live and had a segment with him two weeks ago. As for the other champions, they should be safe with their championships.

United States Champion AJ Styles has held onto his championship since dethroning Ricochet at Extreme Rules in July. Afterwards, he retained his championship against cruiserweights Cedric Alexander and Humberto Carillo in high quality matches. As the leader of the O.C., he has made the championship more prestigious than it has ever been in recent memory.

Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan would be astounding additional element to this match. As can be evidenced by his past technically sound matches with AJ Styles in the WWE as well as his continuous knife edge chops with Roderick Strong in The Greatest Royal Rumble last year, his wrestling style will mesh very well with these men and produce a show-stealing match. As the only babyface in this bout, he would undoubtedly be the fan favorite and help elicit some hype for this potential triple threat.

With Daniel Bryan being the only babyface in the match, it is most likely that he will win the match by pinning Roderick Strong. This win would be key in kickstarting a bright future for Bryan’s Intercontinental Championship run on the road to WrestleMania.

Prediction: Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan (1-1-1)
