A tremendous parody video, the possible promo of the year in AEW, and some ambiguity in NXT’s main event headline this week’s best of the Wednesday Night War.

It’s November, which means WWE is on their nonsense again as the march to Survivor Series begins. That’s right, it’s brand warfare time again, meaning heated rivals will toss away months of animus to prove which show is better. It’s (probably) Vince McMahon’s dream: interchangeable competitors beating each other up in the name of bragging rights for the people in charge!

This year, the Battle of the Brands includes NXT, and to Triple H and the gang’s credit, they have walked the tightrope of keeping their feuds at the forefront while supplementing the main roster’s build to Survivor Series.

Meanwhile, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) put the finishing touches on their Full Gear hype on this past Wednesday’s Dynamite, as their card for this Saturday’s show is all but set.

So with another week of the Wednesday Night War in the books, who stood out the most? Well, stick around to find out, but first, here are some honorable mentions:

PAC: PAC and Trent? got the crowd fired up in Dynamite’s opening match, which ended with “The Man that Gravity Forgot” winning with his Brutalizer submission hold. He then cut a good promo afterward on his Full Gear opponent, Hangman Page.

Emi Sakura: Sakura picked up a win over AEW Women’s Champion Riho in a tag team match that also featured Shanna and Jaime Hayter. She and Riho exhibited great chemistry in their brief time in the ring, a good sign that their match at Full Gear will be a banger.

Private Party: The team of Isiah Cassidy and Marq Quen defeated the Dark Order to earn a spot in the AEW Tag Tem Championship Triple Threat Match.

Between them, SoCal Uncensored, and The Lucha Bros., that should be a lot of fun.

Mia Yim: “The HBIC” interjected herself in Team Shayna Baszler and Team Rhea Ripley’s scuffle using a kendo stick, which led to Ripley adding her to her WarGames team instead of Dakota Kai.

We’ll see if this leads to Kai turning on the babyfaces and joining Baszler, Bianca Belair, and Io Shirai.
