Kofi Kingston

Honestly, Kofi Kingston should win the Royal Rumble and beat the hell out of Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36. In a just world, this is the only option. I am still livid at how Lesnar defeated Kingston in 10 seconds. What a great way to debut your product on FOX, WWE! Go ahead and make your best WWE Champion of the last five years lose to a guy nobody – except for a few 50-year-olds with nothing better to do than troll on Disqus – gives a damn about anymore!

But, like, all of my complaining would subside if this actually led to something meaningful. Imagine if the “Kofi Spots” that he does impeccably year after year at Royal Rumbles finally were part of a feel-good win. Kingston has been one of WWE’s best performers in 2019, and by that metric, shouldn’t he be a candidate to main event WrestleMania 36?

Kingston has been trying to remain positive, but we all see through the facade. He’s squeezing pancakes. He feels a part of his soul his missing. In short, he’s pissed at his five-second loss to Lesnar on SmackDown’s FOX debut.

Maybe Kofi doesn’t get his revenge. After all, Lesnar is the champion again and just bolted for Raw because he felt like it, so it’s not like the WWE Universe is a “just” world, right?

But damn it, at least make me think it’s going to happen for a second.
