Roman Reigns
Seth Rollins beat Brock Lesnar twice for the Universal Championship, and he did it at WrestleMania and SummerSlam. No, don’t ask me how on earth that happened and don’t expect me to complain about it either.
But look, if Rollins can beat Lesnar twice at the two biggest Pay-Per-Views of the year, then why can’t Roman Reigns do it? Aren’t Reigns and Rollins supposed to be exactly evenly matched? Reigns beat Lesnar at SummerSlam 2018, but there’s no way The Big Dog has forgotten what Lesnar did to him at WrestleMania 34. I mean, even Neville Longbottom would remember something like that.
Reigns has to win another Royal Rumble in his career at some point, and now is the perfect time. He’s the best male superstar in the company when it comes to his overall game, and if you don’t believe me, just look at how many wrestlers he’s put over big-time over the past year.
The Big Dog is rounding into top form, and by the time WrestleMania season kicks off, he’ll be ready for a massive role in the title picture.
And remember, Lesnar will probably be the Universal Champion by then, just in time to be dethroned by the Reigns, the Biggest Acquisition in SmackDown History, at WrestleMania, the Show of Shows. (Damn WWE has more appositives than Homer.)
