5 Potential Challengers for Walter’s WWE NXT UK Championship

5. Fabian Aichner/Marcel Barthel

Rounding out the list of potential competitors for Walter’s WWE NXT UK Title is Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel. Both Aichner and Barthel made the list partly because of each respective man’s in-ring ability, but also because of the fantastic storyline this rivalry would create.

Aichner’s physique alone is enough to turn heads, however, his strength and high-flying capabilities make the Italian a force to be reckoned with.

Marcel Barthel is pretty impressive himself, which is seen with him dominate, no-nonsense attitude in the ring.

While both Aichner and Barthel have the potential to shine on their own, the linkage they have to Imperium dilutes their individual selves a bit. We don’t get to see each man at their full potential because the WWE NXT UK Universe focuses on Imperium’s dominance as a whole, rather than the uniqueness each individual member brings.

While Wolfe did not make the list of potential challengers for Walter’s WWE NXT UK Championship, it is safe to say that Wolfe would side with Aichner and Barthel if the group were to split simply because of the numbers. If this isn’t enough, it’s safe to say that Wolfe, along with Aichner and Barthel, feel overlooked as Walter holds the WWE NXT UK Championship;

After all, champions are the ones who get written down in the history books.

Seeing Aichner, or Barthel, or even both men collectively turn on Walter to make a statement on their lust for gold would be the beginning of a historic storyline.

A feud between any of these three men would bring flair to the WWE NXT UK Championship history line as well.

Since Imperium is such a dominant faction in the WWE NXT UK right now, it isn’t likely that we will see the implosion of Imperium any time soon. This time will come eventually, but for now, Imperium will remain intact, while the WWE NXT UK Champion Walter faces other foes.
