Result: Chris Jericho (7-0)

Rating: ****1/4 (4.25 stars)

This was a great old school match, and Cody and Jericho won the crowd over by the end of the match. The crowd was upset at the finish and chanted “You f***ed up” at MJF. MJF was repeatedly apologizing in the ring, practically in tears. Jericho was breaking Cody in half, and he MJF did want he thought was right.

Cody gabbed MJF’s hand and shook it, so MJF booted Cody low! MJF has turned on Cody Rhodes! The crowd lost their mind booing MJF. The camera focused on Cody, who was laying there in shock. MJF sabotaged Cody, and as he was going back up the ramp, a fan threw a drink on him.

Security took the fan out, but MJF looked at the fan with disgust and then walked away with an evil smirk on his face. The fans chanted Cody as he left the arena. It looks like AEW has a good 2nd top heel in MJF now, and the feud between him and Cody will be great.
