AEW Men’s Singles Division Power Rankings

Honorable Mention: PAC (3-1-1) [Last Week: Honorable Mention] and MJF (1-1-0) [Last Week: Unranked]

In the men’s division, honorable mention is occupied this week by PAC and MJF. PAC had a mixed bag, picking up a win over Trent on Dynamite only to lose to Adam Page at Full Gear. MJF didn’t have any in-ring action this week, but his devastating betrayal of Cody has made him an immediate threat to this division.

5. Shawn Spears (3-2-0) [Last Week: Unranked]

Maybe no one person had a better week than Shawn Spears. In the time since we last did these rankings, Shawn Spears picked up three straight singles wins in quick succession. He defeated Michael Nakazawa on AEW Dark, took out Brandon Cutler on Dynamite, and capped it off by defeating Joey Janela on Full Gear. There’s no denying “The Chairman.”

4. Adam Page (4-2-0) [Last Week: 5]

“Hangman” Adam Page has been struggling since losing to Chris Jericho in a match to crown the inaugural AEW World Champion. He finally shook that this week with a strong victory over PAC at Full Gear. Page is scheduled to face PAC again this week on Dynamite, and another win could put him right back in the hunt for Le Champion.

3. Cody (3-1-1) [Last Week: 2]

Cody may have only suffered a single loss this week, but it couldn’t have been a more painful one. Cody vowed to never challenge for the AEW World Championship again if he lost to Chris Jericho. After a brutal contest, MJF threw in the towel for Cody and ended things. Cody looked frustrated as he felt he could’ve done more, but MJF then revealed his true intentions by hitting a low blow and turning on Cody, having clearly cost him the match on purpose. Cody slips a ranking down this week, and the events of Full Gear will be felt by The American Nightmare for quite some time.

2. Jon Moxley (1-0-1) [Last Week: 3]

Technically, Jon Moxley didn’t do anything this week. Technically, he had no match at all at Full Gear. Technically, he’s still only 1-0-1 in singles action. Of course, we all know that’s not the case. Jon Moxley took on Kenny Omega in an Unsanctioned Lights Out Match, and after taking “The Cleaner” to war it was Moxley who scored the win. Whether his record reflects it or not, Jon Moxley earned this spot.

1. Chris Jericho (5-0-0) [Last Week: 1]

At the top of our AEW Men’s Singles Division Power Rankings is still “Le Champion.” Reigning AEW World Champion Chris Jericho successfully defended his title against Cody at Full Gear, and will now never have to contend with Cody as a challenger again. The way things ended didn’t stop Jericho from celebrating his victory with A Little Bit of the Bubbly and The Inner Circle at the top of the stage.
