3. Ronda Rousey

I’ll admit that I have no idea if Ronda Rousey is even available for WrestleMania 36 this year, let alone the Royal Rumble and the whole program that would be needed leading up to April 5th.

Nevertheless, I can’t help but shake the feeling that Rousey is going to not only make her surprise return at Royal Rumble, but win the whole match as well.

The stars are just aligning too perfectly for Rousey’s return right now it seems.

Becky Lynch is still one of the top faces in WWE. She arguably seems the safest bet to retain her title on the Road to WrestleMania too.

Add in the fact that Rousey’s Four Horsewomen of MMA compatriot Shayna Baszler is feuding with Lynch now, plus Triple H recently leaving the door open for the UFC Hall of Famer’s return, and I can’t help but think about the possibilities of a WrestleMania 36 showdown between the two.

A potential one-on-one between Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch is still a match that undoubtedly needs made sometime down the road, something which “The Man” herself seems aware of as well.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso, Lynch didn’t shy away from expressing her interest in facing off again with Rousey when faced with the question of what’s next for her:

"“I’m exactly where I want to be, but there’s always more work to be done,” said Lynch. “The world still needs that one-on-match with Ronda Rousey. Whenever she’s ready, I’ll be here, still holding down the fort in WWE.”"

All of that makes me really wonder if there’s something to my hunch that Rousey makes her return to win the Royal Rumble, and face Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36.

Imagine if WWE could work in a Four Horsewomen showdown in there as well. Now, just think about that for a moment. That would be epic in and of itself too.

Ok, ok, I’ll stop now, but just keep all of this in the back of your head come January.
