Tonight, we will see WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley take on Nikki Cross in a match with Survivor Series implications. Plus, Daniel Bryan guests on Miz TV to react to The Fiend’s attack from last week.

After tonight’s episode of SmackDown, we will be just over a week away from WWE’s latest Pay-Per-View, Survivor Series, where the blue brand will not only tango with the boys and gals of the Raw brand, but also folks from NXT’s quarters. So far, the road towards a night of brand supremacy has been a chaotic one to say the least with so many brand loyalists hopping between show to show that it’d be easy to mistake the Wild Card Rule to be back in effect.

With brand allegiances once again thrown into disarray, we have seen members of the NXT roster invade SmackDown, SmackDown stars jump ship to return the favor, Raw getting in the mix and getting invaded themselves and, of course, whatever other combination you can stem from these three brands invading each other. We can expect much of the same on tonight’s show. A show that is already set to produce some major Survivor Series implications.

Judging by what WWE has already announced for tonight’s episode mere hours before it goes live (that’s right, people, tonight’s episode will indeed be live, compared to last week’s rare pre-taped show), WWE plans to book this SmackDown in a way that by the end of the night, we will get a clearer picture as to what the full card for Survivor Series will look like. And there is no place to start solidifying than with tag team action.
