Bayley vs. Nikki Cross

This match never officially goes underway, as before the bell rings, Cross immediately sends Bayley to the outside. They brawl there, but Bayley sends Cross into the steel steps. Before she can capitalize, Baszler runs in to attack Bayley, but she hightails it into the crowd, where she is met by NXT’s Rhea Ripley, Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox and Mia Yim.

Sasha Banks blindsides Baszler from behind before getting surrounded by NXT women, but the SmackDown women’s locker room hit the ring to hold down the ring.

Banks grabs the mic and say if NXT wants the spotlight, then they oughta wrestle them for an Eight vs. Eight tag match right now.

Sasha Banks, Nikki Cross, Carmella and Dana Brooke vs. Tegan Nox, Rhea Ripley, Dakota Kai and Mia Yim

Kai tags to Mia Yim, who immediately gets arm dragged by Nikki before tagging to Carmella. Yim wrenches the arm, and Carmella returns the favor till she gets chopped in the chest. Yim misses a big boot in the corner, then ducks a Superkick from Carmella.

Both women duck a series of kicks from each other till Tegan tries to interfere. She gets kicked for her troubles by Carmella, but Yim takes advantage before tagging Nox in. She stomps Carmella before tagging Kai for a series of uppercuts, then a senton from Nox. Nox goes for the pin, but obviously, she’s not legal. Kai goes for the pin and Carmella kicks out.

Kai tags Nox back in to get the heat on Carmella till she tags to Sasha Banks. Nox evades a Meteora with a sunset flip. Banks kicks out and responds with a knee. Nox tags in Rhea Ripley. Her and Banks stare down each other till Banks slaps

Goes for a tilt a whirl, but Ripley uses her power to slam Banks to the mat. Follows up with a back suplex attempt, but Banks reverses with a Bank Statement, but rolls over to reverse the momentum. All women jump in for a chaotic sight to send us to a commercial break.

Back from break, Cross struggles to fight off Rhea Ripley till hitting a middle rope cross body. While attempting a bulldog, Dakota Kai tags herself in, but gets back suplexed for her troubles. Cross goes for the pin, but gets Shining Wizard’d by the “Girl with the Shiniest Wizard,” Tegan Nox.

Everyone runs in to hit their finishers until we’re down to Kai and Cross again. Kai hits a scorpion kick and tries to follow up with a suplex, but Nikki Cross turns it into her snap neckbreaker finisher for the win.

Immediately after the bell, the NXT women attack Nikki Cross, causing another chaotic brawl. Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose and Tamina run in to help out their locker room and run NXT into the crowd.

Winners: Team SmackDown

Grade: A

Not gonna lie. This whole match was awesome. NXT’s women’s division is tremendous and they shined with the spotlight on them. Some women had better chemistry with others in the match (Mia Yim and Carmella especially were surprisingly great together) but overall, they did some exciting work together.

Also, give me Rhea Ripley vs. Sasha Banks NOW.
