Bianca Belair

The NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler was the first NXT Superstar (man or woman) to invade SmackDown the night of Nov. 1, but let us not forget who the second person to represent the NXT women’s division was that night. Within a half hour or so later, we saw Bianca Belair decimating Dana Brooke and chucking Carmella to Parts Unknown with a military press.

While Belair has never won the Women’s Championship over in NXT, the brand has gone out of their way to showcase her as one of the best of her field. The self-proclaimed “EST of NXT” has competed in multiple title matches at multiple TakeOver events this year, while also being a part of Team Baszler for this upcoming TakeOver’s War Games match, which takes place just a day before Survivor Series.

We should expect a number of NXT Superstars to pull double duty this weekend back to back with TakeOver and Survivor Series. Bianca Belair should be one of those Superstars. Casual SmackDown viewers who have never seen NXT a day in their lives have already seen a taste of what Belair can do after her attack on SmackDown. Let those same fans see what she can do in the ring for a full match. Maybe it’ll bring some more viewers to NXT’s programming.
