WWE NXT: Results, Highlights and Grades For November 20th, 2019
WWE NXT is sure to be a blockbuster event tonight. With the black and gold brand invading RAW and Smackdown over the last 3 weeks, Triple H upped the ante on Monday night. He issued an open door policy for any superstar to walk into the arena and get ready for a fight when they do.
On top of the challenge issued by the boss of NXT, the build for this Saturday’s NXT Takeover event and Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series card the following night continues. The NXT champion Adam Cole has an important match-up, going toe to toe with Dominik Dijakovic to determine which team has the advantage in their main event War Games match at Takeover on Saturday.
To add icing on the cake, The NXT Tag Team Champions from the Undisputed ERA will square off against former two time champs and current Smackdown brand team, The Revival. This is considered to be a dream match that has never been seen before. What will happen when 2 of the best tag teams on the Planet square off in a head to head affair?
This is going to be the most anticipated NXT show on USA since they debuted 2 months ago on cable television.
Opening segment: Becky Lynch is at Full Sail!!
We open the show with Becky Lynch emerging from a locker room! She stares down NXT commissioner William Regal as her music hits. Lynch strides to the ring and receives a huge pop from the crowd.
Becky Lynch grabs the microphone stating “It had been awhile since she been in an NXT ring and she came here to kick someone’s ass.”
Lynch calls outimmediately calls out the NXT women’s champ Shayna Baszler and says “she can bring out Mary and Jessica, it won’t matter.” A few seconds later, Rhea Ripley’s music hits as she confronts Lynch in the middle of the ring.
Ripley asks Becky if “she’s the man and if she has a set of balls?” A ref runs down and we get a match between Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley!

Becky Lynch vs Rhea Ripley
Becky and Rhea tie up in the middle and Lynch gains the advantage and tosses Ripley to the outside. Rhea immediately gains control, picking Becky up and giving her the electric chair on the apron.
As we go to break, Ripley is working over Lynch in the corner with a series of stomps. Ripley hits Lynch with a plethora of knees in the center of the ring.
Ripley retains the edge and puts Becky in a headlock and leaves the Man gasping for air. Lynch battles back and side steps a corner attack but Ripley hits her with a dropkick.
As Rhea tries to toss Lynch to the outside, Becky hits her with a boot to the head. Ripley climbs the top rope and connects with a forearm. Becky rebounds and hits her with a forearm of her own.
They trade uppercuts and forearms in the center. As Becky bounces off the rope, Ripley catches her and hoists her 7 feet in the air and ends up with a 2 count.
Lynch once again regains momentum and connects with a top rope leg drop and a 2 count to follow up. Becky attempts the disarmer and Ripley counters with a small package for a 2 count.
Becky once again tries for the disarmer and is successful. Rhea sneaks out and eventually hits Becky with a superplex as both women are down.
Out comes Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir as the ref calls for the bell. Lynch and Ripley fight of the Horsewomen and standing the ring staring down the 3 women. The match ends in a no contest.

Grade: B+
That was a fun back and forth affair between 2 of the best on the women’s roster. Very disappointing to see the match end in a no contest but it was a fun bout none the less .
They cut to the back and The Revival step out of a limo as they prepare for battle with Kyle O Reilly and Bobby Fish later on.
