4. Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair – 2018

Until we one day finally do get Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch one-on-one inside of the squared circle, it is always going to be a bummer that a punch from Nia Jax and a bloody nose completely shattered the dreams everyone had to see this one. Even though it created one awesome visual that made The Man into the star she is today, it is still a bummer knowing how close we were to getting this, only for their momentum to get cut short mere days before the PPV.

Luckily, WrestleMania was able to come early as Charlotte Flair stepped in as a last minute replacement. Flair and Rousey were always rumored to go one-on-one in the first ever women’s main event of Mania, but with The Man down, The Queen was able to fill her place. In doing so, we got a WrestleMania worthy contest. These gladiators laid it into each other like nobody’s business in one of the most aggressive, brutal, physical confrontations I’ve ever seen before my eyes.

Truth be told, if not for the match ending in DQ, this might be a little bit higher, but don’t let that deter you from viewing this match as anything lower than spectacular. I view this match in the same vain as matches like Mankind vs. Shawn Michaels at Mind Games or Kurt Angle vs. Stone Cold at SummerSlam 2001 as matches that were incredible almost in spite of a less than satisfying non-finish.

Luckily, a few months later, both ladies were able to pick up where they left off (with Lynch in the mix this time) to offer one hell of a main event of WrestleMania 35, even if you hate the finish.
