Daniel Bryan “summons” Bray Wyatt

Bryan says he wants to summon Bray Wyatt because of what happened last week. He doesn’t get what’s going on in Bray’s mind, but he doesn’t know what’s going on in Bryan’s mind either. Before their title match this Sunday, he wants to talk to Bray man to man to clear things up. Talk about their issues, talk about their past, etc. But if that doesn’t work out, they can fight.

In mid-promo, the lights go out. When the lights come back on, nothing happens. Bryan is in the middle of the ring like nothing happened.

“Mind games, huh?” Bryan adds. He doesn’t want to disappoint the fans, so he wants Bray to come out and fight. Instead, The Miz comes out.

Miz scolds Bryan for disrespecting on his own talk show last week. Bryan says he doesn’t care or like Miz. Miz says the feelings mutual and he can’t wait

Miz says he tried to “slap some sense” into Bryan by pointing out his flaws last week. Since that didn’t work, he wants to do so literally. So he literally slaps Bryan. Before Bryan reacts, we cut to a commercial break.

Back from the break, Miz vs. Bryan is happening. Miz attempts the It Kicks, but Bryan catches him and slaps him in the face, sending him to the outside. He then dives off the apron with a knee to the face.

Back in the ring, they trade punches in the middle of the ring. Headbutt by Bryan before running off the ropes and running into a knee to the gut. Miz follows up with a kick to the face for a two count. Miz follows up with a series of running big boots for another two count before locking in a headlock. Bryan pushes Miz into the ropes, but Miz shoulder blocks him. Hits the ropes again, Bryan leapfrogs, then knee to the chest.

Bryan hits a series of running dropkicks into the corner, but on the last, Miz catches him with a corner clothesline. Diving axe handle, but Bryan turns it into a Label Lock that Miz gets out of before Bryan hits a vintage comeback spot.

He goes to hit a diving headbutt, but Miz pushes him while he’s on the top rope. Miz sets up a superplex, but Bryan blocks it. Headbutts him off the top, then follows up with a missile dropkick, then a kip up. Followed by Yes Kicks. While Miz is prone in the corner. Bryan teases starting a Yes chant, but just as he points to the sky, the lights go out.

Lights back on, Fiend is in Miz’s spot in the corner. He gets up to confront Bryan. Bryan runs at him, but Fiend catches him with a Mandible Claw.

Winner: No Contest (?)

Grade: C+

Really enjoyed this, because Miz and Bryan have good chemistry, but WWE have done so many non-finish DQs/No Contests in the last month that I’m just too jaded from it. I hate these finishes now. They make me tired by this point.

Shayna Baszler calls out Bayley

She says she heard what Bayley said earlier. So now, she’s not lurking in the shadows anymore in the middle of “your” ring begging for a fight. Ironically, Bayley attacks Baszler from behind. They brawl until Bayley tries to retreat to the crowd, but Baszler attempts a Kirifuda Clutch, but Bayley drives Baszler into the barricade. Bayley pushes Baszler into the ring post and runs away.
