Over the past month or so, WWE’s three top main roster shows have been interlocked in brand warfare, but tonight at WWE Survivor Series 2019, it all culminates to decide which brand is the best.
WWE Survivor Series 2019 will serve as WWE’s second to last Pay-Per-View of the year and as a long running part of the company’s “Big Five,” the stakes could not be any higher. Which, by the way, I only just found out yesterday that WWE officially stretched out their traditional Big Four to a Big Five a few years back, so that shows how out of the loop I am when it comes to this whole “wrasslin’ industry” thing.
Anyway, it all started on the Nov. 1 episode of SmackDown when after WWE had already announced NXT will participate the annual Survivor Series brand war for the first time ever, the black and gold brand threw the first shot by attacking the blue brand and declaring war. This would become a running trend every week with NXT stars hopping over to both SmackDown and Raw. Even a few NXT UK stars threw their hats into the race for one episode of Raw.
But eventually, both Raw and SmackDown decided to fight back and took the fight to NXT’s own show for a couple weeks. Then, in the last week, Raw and SmackDown started attacking each other instead of saving their energy for the one brand that has been laying them out for a month. Because, you know, “bRaND WARfaRE!!!!”
Anyway, the point remains that all three brands are going to collide tonight, starting at 7 p.m. sharp (6 p.m. if you plan to watch the Kickoff Show) live on the WWE Network.
