Bobby Lashley vs. Titus O’Neil [Grudge Match]

Bobby Lashley and Titus O’Neil wrestled for only a short period of time. Apparently, Rusev received a restraining order from Lana before Raw aired live. He violated the restraining order and decided to interrupt this match and attack Bobby Lashley for a DQ finish.

He tossed Lashley into the steel steps and was about to toss Lashley into the announce table near the stage area. However, police enforcement came in to handcuff and arrest Rusev for violating the restraining order.

As Rusev was getting handcuffed, he pushed Lashley off the stage and kicked the metal stage equipment on top of Lashley to get his revenge. The police enforcement then take Rusev to the backstage area.

Lashley is then taken on a stretcher to a medical facility. Meanwhile, Lana cries for Lashley’s well being as the segment fades to black.

Result: Bobby Lashley (by DQ)

Rating: 2.0/5.0 Stars

Analysis: Honestly, the segments between Bobby Lashley and Rusev each week are always questionable. It will be interesting to see what the end goal is for this consistently told storyline. As for now, it is just egregious and does not deserve much praise.

Authors of Pain vs. Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder [Tag Match]

As Lashley gets strolled to the backstage area, Authors of Pain enter the ring to deliver the Last Chapter, Super Collider, and Powerbomb to squash Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder for a very easy tag match victory. This is their way of sending a message to the Raw locker room and making a statement.

Result: Authors of Pain

Rating: 1.0/5.0 Stars

Analysis: This was a squash by Authors of Pain and nothing special. Since they got called out by Seth Rollins at the start of the show, they decided to take matters into their own hands and show why they are one of the most dangerous tag teams in the Raw locker room. It will be interesting to see if they challenge the Viking Raiders for the Raw Tag Team Championships anytime soon.

Andrade vs. Akira Tozawa [Grudge Match]

Andrade starts off the match with a vicious powerbomb to Akira Tozawa. He hits some knife edge chops to Tozawa in the corner and locks in a chin lock. He then attempts to do some Eddie Guerrero suplexes, but Tozawa counters with a spectacular Hurricanrana and German Suplex. Tozawa goes on the top rope to finish Andrade off, but Andrade stops Tozawa at the top rope, hits the double knees to Tozawa at the corner, and executes the Hammerlock DDT for the three-count and the victory.

Result: Andrade

Rating: 1.5/5.0 Stars

Analysis: Although Akira Tozawa got some offense in this match, Andrade dominated most of the match and won with ease even without Zelina Vega’s help. Nothing special here. Hopefully, Andrade actually gets a feud on the road to TLC in December. After the match, the cameras shift to the titantron where Aleister Black calls out Buddy Murphy for his actions last week.
