3. AJ Styles

AJ Styles was actually a decent United States Champion. He brought a lot of prestige back to the championship and deserves to win it back, if he ever gets the chance.

Before he lost the championship to Mysterio on last week’s Raw, he retained the championship against the likes of Ricochet, Cedric Alexander, Braun Strowman, and Humberto Carillo.

Throughout all of these feuds during his reign, Styles has excelled as a trailblazer in every sense of the word. His in-ring psychology, promo work, and backstage segments had been very entertaining.

Although it’s impossible not to feel elated for Mysterio’s title victory, it’s also saddening that Styles had to drop the United States Championship so soon.

Hopefully, Styles gets his championship rematch against Mysterio on the road to WWE TLC 2019.

When considering Mysterio’s ephemeral title reigns throughout his career, it would not be too far-fetched to witness Styles winning the championship back from him at WWE TLC 2019, and dropping the championship to someone else on the road to WrestleMania 36.

However, many WWE fans alternatively want Mysterio to have a lengthy reign and pass the torch to Dominick since his WWE career could potentially very well come to an end in 2020.

Thankfully, there is one superstar who could very well stop Styles in his tracks, and his name is Randy Orton.
