2. Randy Orton

When Rey Mysterio dethroned AJ Styles on Raw last week, he did it with some much-needed assistance from Randy Orton. Many may see Orton’s assistance as a sign of a babyface turn, but he was perhaps simply getting revenge for what happened earlier in the night.

Apparently, Orton was upset with The O.C. screwing him in the fatal four way number one contender’s match for the United States Championship that occurred before the actual championship match. Orton literally had the match won after delivering an RKO to Drew McIntyre, but his leg was pulled from Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson right before the three-count.

Nonetheless, it looks like Styles now has a problem with Orton, but Mysterio also owes Orton for his altruism. Maybe the honorable Mysterio will offer to put the championship on the line against Orton at WWE TLC 2019.

If this occurs, it would be a neat revisit to their feud from SmackDown in 2018. It is worth noting that Orton has not won a championship this year as of yet, especially after signing a new contract with the WWE.

For a legend like him who seems to usually win at least one championship per year, don’t be surprised if he ends up dethroning Mysterio outta nowhere, instead of Styles.
