Drew McIntyre vs. Akira Tozawa
Drew McIntyre threatens Akira Tozawa that he should leave the ring right now before he beats him up. Tozawa teases leaving but does not budge and tosses McIntyre out of the ring. McIntyre catches Tozawa and delivers an inverted Alabama Slam to Tozawa outside the ring and tosses him back into the ring.
McIntyre keeps Tozawa grounded with a chin lock and knife edge chop in the corner. He then delivers an overhead toss to Tozawa, sending him all the way to other side of the ring. McIntyre then locks in another chin lock on Tozawa. Tozawa uses the momentum of the crowd to rally back.
Tozawa side steps McIntyre in the corner, stuns McIntyre with an Enziguiri, and goes on the top rope for a Missile Dropkick. McIntyre catches Tozawa for another Alabama Slam, but Tozawa rolls up McIntyre for the two-count. Tozawa rebounds off the ropes for momentum but runs into a devastating Claymore under his jaw for the three-count. Goodnight, nurse!
Drew McIntyre then cuts a promo about how many superstars in the back tend to complain online instead of handling business in the ring. He then calls out Randy Orton and the show goes to commercial.
Results: Drew McIntyre
Grade: 2.5/5.0 Stars
Analysis: Drew McIntyre is a gem in that ring. It was inevitable that he would defeat Tozawa but at least Tozawa got a fighting chance instead of getting squashed like a jobber. He then calls out Randy Orton outta nowhere, which should be something to look forward to. But why does everyone have a problem with Orton? First, his Twitch followers. Then, AJ Styles. Now, Drew McIntyre? So, will Randy Orton show up?
